Privacy Policy — Tasbeeh 33: Dhikr Counter
1. Data we collect
None. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal data, and the app contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs.
- No account. There is no sign-up, sign-in or user profile.
- No location. The app never requests or reads your location.
- No analytics or tracking. No usage statistics, no device identifiers, no advertising ID.
- No advertising. The app contains no ads and no ad networks.
- No data uploaded. The app sends none of your content anywhere.
2. What is stored on your device
To do its job, the app saves the following locally on your phone only. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else:
- The counters you create, and the number each one has reached
- A daily counting log (dates and counts) behind the daily log, streaks and insights
- Your preferences: theme, accent, text size, haptics and tap-sound settings
- Any reminders you set (time, days, label and chosen alarm sound)
Removing the app from your device deletes all of it. Because there is no server copy, no data of yours exists anywhere else to delete or request.
3. Notifications and reminders
If you create a reminder, the app schedules it on your device using Android's alarm and notification services, so it fires at the exact minute you chose. This requires the notification permission, and — where your version of Android asks for it — permission to show the reminder over your lock screen and to schedule exact alarms. The reminder text and its sound are generated and played locally. Nothing about your reminders is transmitted off your phone, and reminders contain no tracking of any kind.
4. Backup, export and import
You can export your data as a JSON or CSV file, and import a JSON backup later. Export is started by you and saved wherever you choose — your Files app, a cloud drive you already use, or a share target you pick. The file is created on your device and goes only where you send it; we never receive a copy. Import reads only the file you explicitly select.
5. Purchases
The app offers one optional one-time in-app purchase, Premium, which unlocks extra features permanently. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing.
- We never see, receive or store your payment details — card numbers, billing address and transaction records are handled by Google Play under Google's privacy policy.
- The app stores only a simple on-device flag recording that a purchase was made, so it can unlock the features. The purchase is tied to your Google account and can be restored on another device through Google Play.
6. Religious content
The dhikr and adhkar text built into the app — Arabic, transliteration and translation — is reference content shipped inside the app, with the source of each entry named alongside it. What you count is private: your count history and progress are stored on your device only, and are never transmitted, profiled or shared. The app does not require internet access to work.
7. Children
Tasbeeh 33 is a general-audience utility, not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
8. Security
Your data lives in the app's private storage area on your device, which other apps cannot read. Because nothing leaves your device, there is no server, no database and no transmission to intercept or breach.
9. Your choices
- Delete everything: uninstall the app, or use the app's own "reset" options.
- Notifications: turn reminders off, or revoke the notification permission in Android Settings at any time.
- Export first: if you want a copy of your history before deleting, export it (JSON or CSV) — always free, always yours.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's Play Store release notes.
